These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") apply whenever you browse, access, or otherwise use the Website. By using it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Website.
2. Legal documents
These Terms cover only the Website.

3. Who may use the Website
You must be at least 16 to use the Website. If you are under 18, use it only with permission from a parent or guardian.
If you use the Website for an employer, client, or other person, you confirm that you are permitted to do so. You remain responsible for following these Terms.
4. Access and changes
We may change, suspend, withdraw, or restrict any part of the Website. We may also change these Terms when the Website, our business, or the law changes.
The updated Terms apply when posted. The date above will show when the published version was last changed. If we consider a change material, we will take reasonable steps to draw attention to it.
We do not promise that the Website will always be available.
5. Ownership and permission to use the Website
Trialight and its licensors own the rights in the Website and its content, including its design, text, images, code, documentation, demonstrations, and branding. You do not acquire any ownership rights by using the Website.
We give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to access and use the Website in accordance with these Terms.
You may:
- view pages for personal or internal business reference;
- share links to public pages; and
- quote a reasonable extract with clear credit and a link back.
This permission does not transfer ownership or grant a general right to copy the Website. We may withdraw the permission if you breach these Terms.
6. Prohibited use
Unless we agree in writing or applicable law gives you a right that cannot be restricted, you must not:
- resell, sublicense, republish, mirror, or otherwise exploit the Website for a commercial purpose;
- scrape, crawl, or systematically collect the Website to build or train a search index, a machine-learning model, or a competing product;
- use bots or scripts in a way that places an unreasonable load on the Website;
- remove or hide a copyright, trade mark, warning, or disclaimer;
- bypass an access control, rate limit, or security measure;
- probe or test a vulnerability without written permission;
- introduce malware or other harmful code;
- disrupt the Website;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your connection with Trialight;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights;
- use the Website to harass, defame, threaten, or harm anyone; or
- use the Website for any unlawful activity.
These restrictions do not prevent fair dealing, assistive technology, or another right that applicable law says cannot be excluded.
7. Trade marks and copyright concerns
"Trialight", our logos, and our branding are trade marks or identifiers belonging to us. You may refer to Trialight accurately, but may not use our branding in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or partnership.
If you believe material on the Website infringes your rights, email support@trialight.com and we will review it.
8. Information you send us
You may send us questions, suggestions, or other material through the Website or by email.
You keep ownership of material you send. You give us permission to use it only as needed to answer you, operate and secure the Website, and improve the relevant feature. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
If you provide general feedback or an idea without marking it confidential, we may use it without payment or an obligation to build it.
9. Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, how long we keep it, who receives it, the rights available to you, and how we use cookies.
10. Third-party websites
The Website links to external websites and services. A link does not mean we control or endorse the linked page. We are not responsible for a third-party website or its content, terms, or availability.
11. Accuracy and no reliance
The Website is provided for general information. It is not:
- medical or clinical advice;
- investment research, investment advice, or a recommendation to transact;
- legal, regulatory, tax, or accounting advice; or
- a promise about a medicine, trial, company, market, or future event.
Obtain professional advice before acting on anything on the Website.
12. Our responsibility to you
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that the Website will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, complete, current, suitable for a particular purpose, or free from third-party rights.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- anything else that the law does not allow a party to exclude or limit.
If you use the Website for business purposes, subject to the paragraph above, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings, or data, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to a business user arising from the Website or these Terms is limited to £100.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach or failure to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for business loss.
13. Restricting access
We may suspend, block, or end access where we reasonably believe it is necessary to:
- stop a breach of these Terms;
- protect the Website, another user, or a rights holder; or
- comply with law, a regulator, or a court order.
Where reasonable and lawful, we will explain the restriction. Clauses concerning ownership, prohibited use, liability, and disputes continue to apply after access ends.
14. General terms
You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer them as part of a sale, reorganisation, or transfer of the Website without reducing a consumer's mandatory rights. If a term is unenforceable, the rest continues. Delayed enforcement is not a waiver. No third party may enforce these Terms.
15. Governing law and courts
The law of England and Wales governs these Terms.
If you use the Website for business purposes, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring or defend proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom or other country where you live.
