# Trialight

> Source-linked life-sciences data for investors, business development teams and consultants: clinical trials, drugs, the companies behind them, the conditions they treat and their biological targets. Every value on a record names the registry, filing or publication it came from.

Trialight Agent builds tables, written answers and lists from that data, sends research agents out in parallel for anything Trialight does not already hold, and Trialight tells its readers when the data they follow changes.

Trialight joins public registries and filings into one record per trial, drug, company, condition and target, and links the records to each other. The public data pages publish a chosen set of those records, the way a signed-in reader on Trialight's plan sees them; the rest are in Trialight. Records update with each data release; a record's Markdown copy carries its last-updated date.

Reading the data:

- Every record page has a Markdown copy at the same address plus `.md`. The page itself answers in Markdown when asked with `Accept: text/markdown`, and names its copy in an HTTP `Link` header and a `<link rel="alternate" type="text/markdown">` element. A long list in a record shows its first 25 items and says how many more the page holds.
- Each fact is listed with its sources, so an answer can cite the original registry or filing as well as Trialight.
- Every published record is listed in the Directory and in the sitemap at https://trialight.com/data/sitemap.xml.
- Cite a record by its Trialight address, and the original source each fact lists. Reading, quoting, citing and training on these pages are all welcome, subject to each source's own licence.
